According to NDTV report, the deceased Mohammad Shahzad was accompanied by a Sudanese citizen. He has also died. Actually, the bodies of both of them were recovered on Thursday, 22nd August, 4 days after the incident. It is being told that the bodies of both were found lying abandoned under the dunes next to their car.

According to the report, both of them struggled a lot to stay alive in the scorching heat of the desert, but hunger and dehydration took their lives. After which the bodies of Shahzad and his companion were found lying near their car in the sand dunes on Thursday (22 August) 4 days later.
