Violent clashes in Pakistan! Imran supporters clash with police, 7 killed in firing, SSP badly injured

Clash between PTI Workers and Police: Police in Islamabad, Pakistan imran khan Clashes broke out between supporters of the party PTI. Stones were pelted during this. Police had to use tear gas. 7 people died in the firing during the incident. PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary gave this information to ABP News.

In a special conversation with ABP News, he said, “Firing was done on the people who came to the rally. People who attended the rally have died. There is a situation like martial law in Pakistan. Imran supporters will not vacate Islamabad.”

Sharif government closed the routes to Islamabad

Earlier, 8 policemen including several police officers were injured in stone pelting during the rally. The SSP was badly injured in this incident. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the Shahbaz Sharif government closed the roads leading to Islamabad.

Police also used tear gas in the meeting hall. Deputy Commissioner Islamabad had asked the organizers of Tehreek-e-Insaf to end the meeting at any cost. After this the situation worsened. According to Islamabad Police, firing was started in response to stone pelting by the protesters, as a result of which many policemen including SSP of Safe City were injured.

According to ARY News, today on Sunday (08 September) PTI workers had organized a rally in Islamabad for which the police administration gave time and when the time was over, the police asked them to leave. After this the situation worsened and stone pelting started. The participants coming from a different route clashed with the police, due to which the police had to fire tear gas shells.

What did the police say?

According to a police spokesperson, the rally participants strayed from the designated route and attacked the police. As stone pelting continued, several officers, including SSP Safe City Shoaib Khan, were injured.
