‘We are concerned about the defense cooperation between India and Israel’, Pakistan said on PM Modi’s visit to Israel

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Pakistan is worried due to Israel’s visit. Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said on Thursday (February 26, 2026) that it is concerned about defense relations between India and Israel. Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tahir Andrabi during the weekly press briefing on the expansion of defense relations between India and Israel and Prime Minister Narendra Modi He said this in response to questions regarding the agreements announced during his visit to Israel.

Pakistan has given this statement at a time when Prime Minister Modi said that New Delhi and Tel Aviv will work on joint development, production and technology transfer in the defense sector as well as a free trade agreement.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu And PM Modi, after the meeting, signed a total of 17 agreements and documents, which will provide deeper cooperation in artificial intelligence, trade, investment, education, manufacturing, culture, maritime heritage, agriculture and other sectors.

India and Israel also resolved to further expand their close defense partnership by working towards joint development and production of military equipment under the framework of transfer of technology.

According to Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, the US-Iran standoff and other issues in the region were discussed at the meeting of the two Prime Ministers and Prime Minister Modi noted India’s strong belief in the importance of dialogue and reiterated New Delhi’s readiness to provide support, if necessary, towards achieving a peaceful solution.

Prime Minister Modi also talked about the joint resolve of India and Israel in combating terrorism. He said, ‘India and Israel are absolutely clear that there is no place for terrorism in the world. Terrorism cannot be accepted in any form. He said, ‘We have stood shoulder to shoulder in opposing terrorism and its supporters, and we will continue to do so.’
