Sambhal DM Rajendra Pansia told that according to Zafar Ali, 900 people entered the mosque simultaneously. During this time, obstructions were being created in the survey. He said, “There is a contradiction in Zafar Ali’s statement. Sambhal DM Rajendra Pansia refuted the allegations of Sadar Zafar Ali of Shahi Jama Masjid. He said that Zafar Ali had informed about the firing through DM, Police Captain and DIG. However, this statement of his is absolutely false.
‘The allegations against the police of burning the car are wrong’

Accusing Jama Masjid Sadar Zafar Ali, DM Rajendra Pansia said, “Zafar Ali sometimes says that the rioters were firing and sometimes he says that the police were firing.” He said, “The use of non-lethal weapons was allowed during the violence. There is a rubber pellet gun in the visuals.”
‘Order for judicial inquiry into the incident’
District Magistrate Rajendra Pansia said that a judicial inquiry has been ordered into the Sambhal violence and the report has been asked to be submitted within 7 days. He told that four people have died in this incident, whose death was due to bullet injury is a matter of investigation.

‘An illiterate person will kill an educated person’
CO Anuj Chaudhary has also made a big revelation regarding the violence that spread during the survey of Shahi Jama Masjid. He said, “The police were following the court order, but during the survey a crowd gathered and they were confused.” Sambhal CO said, “When the survey was going on there, then what was the need to gather there? There was no war going on there.”
On the question of firing during the violence, CO Anuj Chaudhary said that the police does not have 315 bore bullets, which were fired during the violence. He said that my legs were also hit by bullets and shrapnel. We also have the right to self-defense. We have not joined the police force to die.
CO Anuj Chaudhary said, “An educated man will be killed by illiterate people like him. Policemen also have entire families.” He said, “You are raising questions on the police, at least look at the situation.” Sambhal CO said, “I took the necessary steps to maintain law and order. There was no ill intention on our part to kill anyone.”
‘There was a crowd of 15-20 thousand at the spot’
Regarding the entire incident, CO Anuj Chaudhary said, “Someone in that crowd was a criminal, someone was from somewhere else. There could also be some personal rivalry in this.” He said, “There was a crowd of 15 to 20 thousand people at the spot. It cannot be said who is there and what kind of person is there.”
Defending the police action, Sambhal CO said, “Police are a trained force. They know where to fire.” On the question of the dead, he said, “No one was killed by the police bullets. Nor did the police fire with the intention of killing. If the police had to fire, then why would they have broken their arms and legs for the first 4 hours. Why stones and “Takes a bullet.”
