According to a report by NDTV, Flintoff said, “I don’t want to feel sorry for myself. I shouldn’t be here after all that happened. I am struggling with many problems. I don’t want to console myself. I am struggling with anxiety. I also have nightmares. I am very upset and I need help. I don’t want to cry every 2 minutes. I want to stay positive. I have got a second chance. Now I want to see how life goes again.”

About 97 crore rupees were received as compensation –

If reports are to be believed, Flintoff received 9 million pounds as compensation. This would be around 97 crore 47 lakh rupees. Flintoff had shot the Top Gear motoring show for BBC. He could have lost his life in this accident. The show was suspended after Flintoff’s accident. But he has not yet recovered from the pain. He is still facing many difficulties. Flintoff also underwent surgery after this accident.

Flintoff has been a great cricketer for England. He has played 79 Test matches during his career. He has scored 3845 runs in this format. He has scored 5 centuries and 26 half-centuries in Tests.
