Haryana Elections: Assembly elections are going to be held soon in Haryana. Till now it was believed that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would contest the elections alone here, but now AAP has agreed to form an alliance with Congress. AAP says that it is ready to compromise on the number of seats, but no compromise can be made on assembly constituencies like Kalayat.

While AAP is preparing to field Haryana state vice-president Anurag Dhanda from Kalayat assembly seat, AAP is demanding at least one seat in Kurukshetra. Haryana state president of AAP Sushil Gupta will contest the seat from Kurukshetra. Meanwhile, the party is also working on Plan B.

Sunita Kejriwal is continuously holding public meetings

Congress is keeping a close watch on BJP rebels. If the alliance talks fail, AAP will start releasing the list of candidates. Yesterday, Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar had announced that Aam Aadmi Party is ready to contest on 90 seats in Haryana.

When he was asked about the alliance with Congress, he said that talks are still going on about this, but nothing can be said in haste. His party is continuously working in Haryana. The party spokesperson also said that their organization is strong on the ground and Sunita Kejriwal is also continuously holding public meetings.

AAP did not want to form an alliance with Congress

It had come to light that the talks of alliance between AAP and Congress in Haryana may get stuck over the number of seats and constituencies. AAP sources had said that their party does not accept the formula of Congress. Aam Aadmi Party said that if Congress sticks to its current formula, then Aam Aadmi Party will not make any alliance. Let us tell you that 12th September is the last day for filing nominations in Haryana.

Congress has released the first list of candidates

Talking about Congress, it has released its first list of candidates for the assembly elections. The party has fielded Olympian Vinesh Phogat from Julana assembly constituency. Not only this, the party has given ticket to Bhupendra Singh Hooda from Garhi Sampla – Kiloi, Rao Dan Singh from Mahendragarh, Aftab Ahmed from Nuh, Uday Bhan from Hodal, current MLA Kuldeep Vats from Badli. Names of 31 candidates were released in the first list. After this, the name of one more candidate was released. Congress has made Balbir Singh its candidate from Israna SC seat.
