Agriculture Minister of Uttarakhand became emotional
Speaking at an event in the presence of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Friday, Uttarakhand Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi became emotional. During this, he said, ‘I had never thought in my life. I was just a soldier in the army. When I became an MLA, my name was also in discussion for the post of minister but I was not selected. Then I amit shah I came to meet Shri Shah ji. During this he asked me if I am fine. I said, ‘Sir I am fine but I don’t have a Godfather.’ During this he pointed towards the Home Minister and said, ‘I hope you (Shah) will remember this.’
He further said, ‘The Home Minister had then told him that whenever there would be a cabinet expansion in the state, he would be made a minister.’ The Agriculture Minister of Uttarakhand said, ‘I have no words because today a small man like me is sitting with you (Shah).’
Made its mark in a decade
Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi has made his mark in Uttarakhand politics in the last decade. He has been elected MLA from two assemblies of Dehradun for three consecutive times. He is currently a prominent face in Uttarakhand politics. The Pushkar Singh Dhami government made him a cabinet minister in the cabinet expansion in 2021.
