In Delhi, a mother strangled her daughter to death after giving birth to her fourth daughter! Know where the body was found?

Delhi Child Murder Case: On Saturday morning, the police received information about the disappearance of a six-day-old baby girl through a PCR call from Delhi’s Khyala area. When the police launched a search operation based on the information, they found a bag on the roof of the adjacent house, which was opened to find the baby inside. After this, the police and the local people were shocked.

The police immediately admitted the girl to the hospital, where the doctors declared her dead. According to Delhi Police, this incident happened at 5:30 am on Saturday. Khyala police station said that a PCR call was received that a six-day-old girl was missing. Since the matter was sensitive, the police station officials and staff immediately reached the spot.

During the initial interrogation, the mother of the missing child, Shivani, wife of Vimlesh, resident of Shahdara, told that she was discharged from the hospital last night. After that she came to her maternal home. Around 2 to 2:30 in the night, she fed the child and then slept beside her. When she woke up at around 4:30 in the morning, the child was not there.

Why did the police suspect the mother?

When the police conducted a search operation based on this information, Shivani said that she had to go to the hospital to get the stitches removed. The police found her statement a bit strange, but considering her medical condition, the police did not stop her.

Meanwhile, during the search, the police found a bag on the roof of the adjacent house, which when opened contained a baby. The police admitted her to the hospital, but the doctors declared the baby dead.

Mother confessed to the murder

Khyala police found the behaviour of the girl’s mother suspicious. After this, the police sent staff to the hospital, bus-metro stations and their residence in Shahdara to trace the couple. When the woman was found and questioned, she broke down and confessed her crime.

Why did you kill the innocent?

Shivani, the mother of the six-day-old baby girl, told during the initial interrogation that this was her fourth child, two of whom had already died. Due to this, she was facing a lot of social stigma. While feeding the baby, she got lost in old thoughts and strangled her own child.

After strangling the six-day-old baby, she threw her on the adjacent roof. After that she could not sleep and did not know what to tell the family members, so she told them that the child was missing. To confirm the mother’s statement and find out the cause of death, the police sent the child’s body for post-mortem. The police is waiting for the post-mortem report so that it can be proved that the mother killed him.
