Maharashtra Assembly Election: Assembly elections in Maharashtra have not been announced yet but the political temperature in the state has started rising. Amidst all this, Shiv Sena chief and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde recalled his old days and became emotional while mentioning an accident. Actually, this accident was related to his brother.
In an interview given to news agency ANI, CM Shinde narrated an incident. He said that we used to go to the village every year by bike. There is a dam in the village. There we used to play water sports with our brother. Then suddenly we got separated from our brother. Eknath Shinde told that he was shattered after his brother’s death.
During this, he was asked that there was a time when Eknath Shinde wanted to leave everything, how did you overcome it? On this, CM Shinde replied that an accident happened in the year 2000. I am unable to control myself remembering that accident. He said that at that time we used to go to the village with the children during vacation. There, in the village There is Koyna Water Dam. We used to go there every year by motorbike but within no time I got separated from my brother.

Recalling that incident, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that I was shattered after that accident, when my son Shrikant was 12 years old. At that time, there was nothing left for me. I had to look after my family and support them. Because, I had suffered such a big shock, at that time my wife and children needed me. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde further said that after that accident, Anand Dighe sahab used to come again and again. He supported me many times.
Know how was the political journey of Eknath Shinde?
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde Shinde started his political career with Shiv Sena at the age of 18. After working in the party for about a decade and a half, in 1997 Anand Dighe gave Shinde a councillor’s ticket in the Thane Municipal Corporation elections. In his first attempt, Shinde not only won the municipal elections, but he also became the house leader of the Thane Municipal Corporation. After that, in 2004, he contested from the Thane assembly seat and here too he managed to win in his first attempt.
After this, he has been continuously elected MLA of Kopri-Pachpakhadi assembly constituency since 2009. He was the Public Works Minister of the state from 2015 to 2019. Currently he is the Chief Minister of the state.
