Application starts for Computer Operation cum Typist in Patna High Court, know who can apply?

Big news has come for the youth preparing for government jobs. Patna High Court has issued notification for new recruitment. Under this recruitment, a total of 56 posts will be appointed. The special thing is that it includes two different types of posts: Computer Operator and District Judge. Interested candidates can apply online within the prescribed dates.

A total of 56 posts will be filled under Patna High Court Recruitment 2026. Of these, 48 posts have been kept for computer operators. 8 posts are earmarked for District Judge. Qualification, age limit and selection process have been kept different for both the posts.

What should be the educational qualification?

For a computer operator, it is necessary to have graduation from a recognized university. Also, one should have diploma or certificate in computer application. It is also necessary for the candidate to have knowledge of typing.

For District Judge, the same qualification which is decided in the High Court recruitment will be valid for this post. The candidate should have a prescribed number of years of experience as an advocate.

What is the age limit?

The minimum age for computer operator has been kept at 18 years. Whereas the maximum age of the applying candidate has been fixed at 37 years. The minimum age for District Judge post has been fixed at 35 years. Whereas the maximum age is 50 years. Reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per government rules.

How will the selection process be?

The recruitment process will be completed in several phases. If necessary, preliminary examination can be taken. After this there will be main examination or written examination. Typing test will also be taken for the post of Computer Operator. In the final stage, merit list will be released after interview and document verification.

How much is the application fee?

For the post of Computer Operator, candidates belonging to General, BC, EBC, EWS category will have to pay Rs 1100. Whereas SC, ST and disabled candidates will have to pay Rs 550. For the post of District Judge, general category candidates will have to pay Rs 1500 and SC, ST and other reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 750.
