Heavy rain warning in these districts of Madhya Pradesh, monsoon will gain strength after a 2-day break

MP Weather Today: Monsoon is going to gain strength once again in Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has indicated heavy rains in many districts. Heavy rains can again disrupt life. The state had been experiencing heavy rains for the past one week which stopped on Tuesday. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains with thunder and lightning in some districts on Thursday.

Heavy rain warning in these districts
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rain in Sidhi, Singrauli, Rewa, Mauganj, Maihar, Shahdol, Anuppur, Dindori, Umaria, Katni, Chhatarpur, Seoni, Pandhurna, Chhindwara, Harda, Shivpuri and Morena districts. After the indication of the Meteorological Department, it is once again being feared that the water level in the rivers of the state may increase even more. People had got some relief from the rain for the last two-three days.

There will be moderate rain here
Moderate rain has also been indicated in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. These include Mandla, Balaghat, Narmadapuram, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Damoh, Panna, Guna, Ashoknagar, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Shivpuri, Datia districts. Moderate and prolonged rain may occur in these districts.

There is a possibility of light rain in these districts
Along with heavy and moderate rain, an alert has also been issued for light rain. Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Agar Malwa, Sehore, Dewas, Bhind, Ujjain, Indore, Khargone, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Dhar, Jhabua, Alirajpur and Barwani districts may receive light rain.

How much rain fell where?
On Wednesday, 2.4 mm rain was recorded in Bhopal, 3.00 mm in Dhar, 0.4 mm in Guna, 0.5 mm in Narmadapuram, 1.3 mm in Indore, 6 mm in Khandwa, 0.4 mm in Raisen, 2 mm in Ratlam, 0.4 mm in Ujjain, 3.3 mm in Chhindwara, 16.5 mm in Jabalpur, 1.6 mm in Khajuraho, 0.6 mm in Mandla, 2 mm in Narsinghpur, 3 mm in Naugaon, 1.8 mm in Sagar, 11.8 mm in Balaghat.

Indore-Ujjain behind, Bhopal ahead
If we talk about the rainfall in the five big cities of the state, Indore and Ujjain are slightly behind in terms of average rainfall. Ujjain has received 18.85 inches of rain so far, whereas it was supposed to receive 19.59 inches. Similarly, Indore has received 17.85 inches of rain, whereas it was supposed to receive 18.94 inches. Bhopal was supposed to receive 21.50 inches of rain, whereas it has received 32.73 inches of rain so far. Jabalpur was supposed to receive 24.40 inches of rain, instead of which 27.69 inches of rain was recorded. Similarly, Gwalior was supposed to receive 14.70 inches of rain, where it has received 18.42 inches of rain so far.
