UP News: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya was on a visit to Muzaffarnagar on Saturday. Expressing condolences for the people who died in the train accident in Balasore, Odisha, he kept silence for 2 minutes at the BJP district office. Then Keshav Prasad Maurya reached Vikas Bhavan, where he inspected the stalls set up by the self-help group and interacted with the women.

Along with this, necessary guidelines were also given to the officers regarding the resolution of their problems and the work being done by the self-help groups. Asked the administration to help in the products being prepared by the self-help groups. Along with this, guidelines were given to encourage women’s groups.
Maurya made this claim regarding the Lok Sabha elections
After this, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya held a review meeting with the officials and reviewed closely the construction and development works being done in the district. Later Keshav Prasad Maurya told that he held a meeting with the party workers. In the meeting, discussions were held regarding the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He said that breaking the record of 2014, a target has been set to win all 80 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Maurya said that the review meeting of the district has been held. Through that review meeting, there are many feeders of the Electricity Department, in which there are complaints of massive line loss, some are due to dilapidated wires and some are also complaining of power theft. Marking them, instructions have been given to run a special campaign. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, which is a revolutionary scheme in the whole world, every household water scheme, perhaps India is such a country, where the campaign is going on to provide pure drinking water to all without discrimination between rich and poor. The state is on number one.
‘Abandoned cattle are harming the fields’
Deputy CM said that even in Muzaffarnagar district, after laying the pipeline, testing has been done in many villages, where the work is going on, teams should be formed in 10-10 villages of each block, where testing is done. The process has been completed, so that there is no wastage of water and the supply remains smooth, the road that was abandoned for laying the pipeline, the concerned company on which the contract has been awarded, has to fix it. There are more than 6000 cattle in the district’s cattle shelter, yet there have been complaints that a large number of abandoned cattle are harming the fields.
The Deputy Chief Minister has appealed to the people that the person who does not want to keep animals, should not leave them on the streets in the dark of night, they should leave them at the shelter. He said that there is a large amount of pasture land in the district, after marking it, if it is in the possession of anyone, free it from possession, if any mafia has encroached it, vacate it and make shelters in it. Do the work of growing green grass there, so that the animals living at the village shelter can get green fodder.
Instructions were also given regarding Ganga water
Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the most important Hindu pilgrimage site of the whole country is in Shukratal in the district. I had gone there recently, where the saints had expressed their desire that how the water of Ganga should reach there, that project is stuck since 2018. For that too, the officials have been directed to prepare a complete proposal and send it to the government again, so that work can be done there and the pilgrimage site can be developed according to the wishes of the saints and devotees there. Cleanliness campaign should be conducted at Amrit Sarovar in the district and on June 21, on the occasion of World Yoga Day, yoga practice should also be conducted there.
The Deputy CM of UP said that if there is illegal encroachment on the land of Amrit Sarovar in every Gram Sabha of the district, then it should be vacated and trees should be planted there, he said that some complaints came to me. It was the police department that online challans are being sent on a large scale. Notices are coming for the amount of the fine, for that also the police chief has been directed to review it so that there is no unnecessary harassment and an awareness campaign should also be conducted to prevent accidents.
Campaign will be run for Kisan Samman Nidhi
Maurya said that every Friday we also organize village chaupal. He said that our farmers who have a tube well connection, the electricity department has also been instructed not to disconnect any connection. There was also a complaint about the sewer line inside Muzaffarnagar. Necessary action has been taken to solve this problem, it has also been asked to solve the village where water tanks are already built, but their pipeline should also be inspected and the solution should be solved in the same situation.
Apart from this, regarding the Kisan Samman Nidhi, he also said that a special campaign is being run for those farmer brothers who are not getting the Kisan Samman Nidhi. Take action to make new Ayushman cards for those who have got good results for the treatment of poor people for making Ayushman cards. Maurya gave instructions to the officials that the booth president of BJP is also the deputy CM. If there is a District President, then he is also the Deputy CM, if there is any problem, then if our workers take any problem to any officer, then it should also be resolved. It is also a strict guideline that he said that the Chief Development Officer here along with the District Magistrate has done some good work, I also appreciate that.
