Will BJP’s tension increase in Haryana? So many leaders have resigned so far after the list was released

Before the assembly elections in Haryana, there was a turmoil in the BJP camp. Within 24 hours of the release of the list, there was a spate of resignations of leaders. On Wednesday (September 4), BJP announced its candidates for 67 seats. After this, one by one many leaders announced to leave the party. Some even announced to contest the elections as independent candidates.

Which leaders resigned?

• Ranjit Chautala has resigned from the post of minister and announced to contest the election as an independent.
• Laxman Napa: BJP MLA from Ratia. He left the party after his ticket was denied and joined Congress.
• Karandev Kamboj: He was the president of BJP’s Haryana OBC cell. He was demanding a ticket from Indri assembly constituency. He resigned from all party posts after not getting the ticket.
• BJP Kisan Morcha state president Sukhwinder Singh Mandi has resigned from the party.
• Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board Chairman Aditya Chautala has resigned from BJP.
• BJP leader Shamsher Gill has resigned from the party.
• Vikas alias Balle: Resigned from the post of Dadri Kisan Morcha District President.
• BJP leader Darshangiri Maharaj from Hisar has resigned from the party.
• Prashant Sunny Yadav, a youth leader from Rewari, has resigned from the party. He contested the 2019 elections as an independent candidate and got 22,000 votes.
• BJP’s state women secretary Indu Valecha resigned
• Indu Valecha’s husband Sanjeev Valecha resigned from the post of Sonipat District Vice President
• BJP Business Cell state convenor Naveen Goyal also resigned, will contest as an independent from Gurugram.

What did CM Saini say on the resignation of leaders?

Haryana CM Naib Singh Saini reacted to the angry leaders amid the resignations. He said that the lotus flower can stay in only one place. There is only one flower and the number of people accepting it is more. On the resignation of Karan Dev Kamboj and Laxman Napa, he said that both of them are our strong leaders, we will try to convince them.
