Bangladesh News: Ever since Bangladesh’s Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus has come to power, anti-India activities have increased in Bangladesh. However, Yunus has been singing the song of equality and fairness for a long time. On Wednesday, he once again said that Bangladesh wants good relations with other countries including its neighboring country India, but these relations should be based on fairness and equality.
Muhammad Yunus said in his address through a television channel that after taking oath as the Chief Advisor, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi And Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif called him and wished him well.
During his address, Muhammad Yunus said that Bangladesh has started high-level talks with India on bilateral cooperation to deal with floods. Yunus said that he has taken the initiative to revive SAARC to increase regional cooperation in South Asia. In fact, the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) includes India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, and Sri Lanka. Yunus said that he wants the whole world to recognize Bangladesh as a respected democracy.
Yunus is forming six commissions
Yunus said that the interim government has taken steps to form commissions to reform six major areas within Bangladesh, including the election system, judiciary, police administration and constitution. He said that all the six commissions are expected to start work from October 1 and will complete their work in the next three months. He said that the aim of these reforms is to ensure equal rights for all. Yunus said that ‘we have a lot of work and we want to move forward together towards a goal. We want to create such a structure within Bangladesh that will bring out the hidden talents within Bangladesh.’
In fact, after massive student protests in Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post of Prime Minister, after which an interim government has been formed. Muhammad Yunus has been made the chief advisor of the interim government. Muhammad Yunus is now trying to show his strength to India.
