Nepal Print New Bank Notes : There is a constant tension between Nepal and India over the border dispute. Recently, Nepal had approved printing a new map on the notes, in which many areas of India were shown. Now the news is that Nepal has started printing these notes. According to the report of Nepal Khabar.com, the Central Bank of Nepal is preparing to print notes with updated maps. Disputed areas of India will also be printed in these. It was told in the report that the joint spokesperson of the bank, Diliram, has confirmed this.
Printing will be completed in a year
The spokesperson said that the Nepal Bank has moved forward with the process of printing notes with the map. The new map includes Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura, India claims these areas as its occupation, while Nepal claims them as its own territory. The report says that the printing of bank notes will be completed in 6 months to a year. Let us tell you that the then Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda had approved it on May 3, after which the Indian government had raised objections to it.
India’s map will be printed on 100 rupee note
In the report, Diliram claimed that the printing process started after the tender. Nepali notes are being printed in Indonesia, Britain, Australia, France and other countries. He said that the bank will print a Rs 100 note. However, the bank did not say how many notes with the new map will come in the market. However, after the Rs 100 note, the bank will continue to print more notes with the new map as per the need. At the same time, India has been continuously saying that Lipulekh, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura are its parts. Foreign Minister Jaishankar had also objected to this.
