Maharashtra Assembly Elections: Raj Thackeray’s party announces 2 more candidates

Maharashtra Assembly Elections: Political stir regarding the assembly elections in Maharashtra is gradually increasing. Raj Thackeray’s party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena is also fully engaged in preparations for this election and strategy is being made. In this episode, MNS chief Raj Thackeray has announced two more of his candidates.

Raj Thackeray has announced the names of his party’s candidates for Chandrapur and Rajura assembly constituencies. MNS has announced Mandeep Rode as its candidate from Chandrapur assembly seat. At the same time, Sachin Bhoyar’s name has been announced from Rajura assembly seat.

Earlier on August 5, MNS chief Raj Thackeray had announced the names of two candidates for the assembly elections. The party has nominated Bala Nandgaonkar from Mumbai’s Shivadi assembly and Dilip Dhotre from Pandharpur. At present, this strategy of Raj Thackeray has put both Mahavikas Aghadi and Mahayuti in worry.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray had recently announced that MNS will contest elections on 225 to 250 seats in the state. He told his party workers, “Don’t be confused about who will form an alliance with and how many seats will you get.” He appealed to them to be ready for the elections.

In the recently held Lok Sabha elections, Raj Thackeray’s party MNS had supported the NDA. Raj Thackeray himself Narendra Modi had announced to support the party. He was also seen in some rallies of Mahayuti during this election. During that time it seemed that Raj Thackeray would form an alliance with Mahayuti in the assembly elections and would become an important partner in the seat sharing.

This time in Maharashtra Lok Sabha Elections The performance of the Mahayuti was not very good in 2015. The party suffered losses on many seats here. The Mahayuti alliance comprising BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP won 17 out of 48 Lok Sabha seats. Whereas, the Mahavikas Aghadi won 30 seats.
