Badli seat of Haryana becomes election arena, Congress MLA unhappy with Bajrang Punia’s entry?

Haryana Assembly Election 2024: Congress has geared up for the Haryana assembly elections, but meanwhile some voices of opposition are also being raised in the party. In fact, the possible entry of wrestler Bajrang Punia along with wrestler Vinesh Phogat in the Congress has made the politics of the state even more interesting. Bajrang Punia has expressed his desire to contest from Badli seat and meanwhile the displeasure of a party leader is also visible.

In fact, before the assembly elections, Congress is trying to find its winning candidates. On the one hand, wrestler Bajrang Punia, after meeting Rahul Gandhi and party general secretary KC Venugopal, had expressed his wish that he wanted to contest from Badli seat. After this, Congress MLA Kuldeep Vats from Badli seat of Haryana met KC Venugopal late at night.

Kuldeep Vats is not ready to listen to Congress?
If Congress accepts Bajrang Punia’s suggestion and makes him the candidate from Badli seat, then the ticket of the current MLA Kuldeep Vats can be cancelled. To save the seat, Kuldeep Vats met Congress’s organization general secretary Venugopal on Wednesday night and pleaded with him. According to sources, Venugopal has tried to convince Kuldeep Vats but Vats is not ready to agree.

Can Congress suffer losses?
It is worth noting that Kuldeep Vats is considered close to Congress leader Deepender Singh Hooda. In such a situation, the wrestling for the Badli seat has become interesting in the Congress arena. Bajrang Punia has entered through a wild card, but Kuldeep Vats has already contested before the announcement of the ticket. Now the party is facing a dilemma, because angering a sitting MLA can prove to be harmful for any political party.
